Season 8.9 PTS Datamining

Datamining is a way of obtaining early data on what Hi-Rez is working. Sometimes the data is not enough clear and our interpretation may be wrong or inaccurate. Due to this, please remember data may change or never reach final build, do not take datamining as real data but an estimation of what’s to come.

Skins and content is usually 100% accurate, but Gods and Gamemodes data is sometimes inaccurate.

Deity 117 –

While it has not been confirmed nor appeared in files, the location of Blarney Castle suggests that Cliodhna might be the celtic deity suggests snufflebox

The first story involves the goddess Clíodhna and Cormac Laidir MacCarthy. Cormac was troubled with a lawsuit and feared the ruling would be against him. He prayed to the goddess Clíodhna and she told him to kiss the first stone he finds on the way to court. In the morning, MacCarthy kissed the first stone he found and immediately was given the ability to speak with eloquence. MacCarthy won his case and afterward brought the stone to be incorporated into the parapet of the Castle.

Deity 117 finally appears in the files

~~Physical Melee~~ -> This god attribute is now removed and will not be used in future dataminings as it may not be an accurate source (This is due to the missunderstanding with Charybdis having magical tag due to old kit that was never updated in the file). It will only be used if the skills are actually matching the tag. (Anyway, one more time, please remember datamining is just info based in small pieces of info that are left in the files while they cook the game during development stage)

There’s a new effect called Deafen. It may fit to Cliodhna as Banshees scream and she could scream so lod that you go deaf.
There’s something called stealth targeted, which could fit this deity

Atlas is now in the files, so it confirms that he will join the god pool after <Cliodhna>

- Atlas has an empowered auto attack. Uses 20 Energy stacks from Passive

- +1.0 for each time Atlas is hit by a God

- Seems to spawn an astrolabe (Deployable)
- Atlas can recall the astrolabe after pressing again the ability hotkey.
- It takes 1 second to recall the astrolabe
- The astrolabe is recalled back automatically after 5 seconds

- It’s a device that you deploy. Generates some pulses
- Gives a buff of % Reductions (Can’t see if it’s damage reduction or what)
- Damage: 34+2.3 / Level (+100 Physical Power)

- Cailleach
  - Creator and weather deity. Related to snow as she’s a winter deity and the Aurora Borealis can best be seen in Northern Ireland, which is where the mountains named after Cailleach are in
  - Credited as creating many of the mountains and hills in Ireland and Scotland
  - Associated with winter and wilderness
- Clíodhna
  - Emerald Isles and Hibernian forrest refer to Ireland, where Banshees originate from
  - Lore Lady talks about a vengeful spirit howling, leaving only death in her wake. While Banshees aren’t necessarily known as “vengeful spirits”, they do scream loudly, and their screams mean that death is coming to whoever hears it
